A third helping of mashed potato,
Hot whisked, and a little pool of butter
Melting in the middle.
I’d think you whole choose the
Mashed potato.
But I’d choose you next.

Hello!I like cat poems! And what about this one?
My Cat

My cat rubs my leg
and starts to purr
with a soft little rumble,
a soft little whirr,
as if she had motors
inside of her.
I say, "Nice kitty,"
and stroke her fur,
and though she can't talk
and I can't purr,
she understands me,
and I do her.
